Term 1 2026

Whanau BBQ

We kicked off the term with our annual whānau BBQ, a relaxed and welcoming evening for our school community. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet our teachers and staff, have informal conversations, and connect with one another. With great food and a friendly atmosphere, the event set a positive tone for the term ahead and strengthened the sense of belonging within our school.

Leadership Assembly

This term, we introduced a new leadership program for our year 7 & 8 students, and it has already made a positive impact across our school. In just one term, we’ve seen students step up with confidence, responsibility, and initiative. It’s been a fantastic change, fostering a strong sense of leadership and pride within our school community.

Water Safety Courses

Throughout Term 1, all of our students took part in swim safety sessions, building essential skills and confidence in the water. They learned important techniques to help keep themselves safe not only in the pool, but in a variety of aquatic environments. This valuable programme has equipped our students with knowledge and awareness that will support their safety both in and around water.

Swim Sports

Our Swim Sports event was a highlight of the term, with many of our students getting involved and giving it their all. It was fantastic to see such enthusiastic participation, great sportsmanship, and plenty of encouragement throughout the day.

Junior Hat Parade

Our annual Junior Hat Parade was a fun and creative highlight of the term. Students designed and created their own unique hats, showing off their imagination and effort. The parade was enjoyed by all, with judges selecting standout designs, making it a special and memorable event for our junior students.
